Just like that...
Last night's practice (good practice - one of the new originals, which was weak the last time we tried it out, now cooks along mightily) put the kibosh on my plans to party with my friends this Saturday. I need to be back in Syracuse an hour earlier than I had planned, making my time at the party about half the one-way travel time to get there.
Damn. I hate it when a plan falls apart.
Of course, this all comes back to my guiding principal of never getting too attached to your plans (or, really, anything else. Attachment is a trap).
But I'm sad to miss this relatively rare opportunity to hang with seldom-seen friends.

Always glad to see my weight drop below the trend line. Now I have less than twenty weeks - which will include two weeks in LA and the holiday season - to flatten that trend line. Challenging.
