Diet Comment
Another day of big weight loss. There's no way this is not related to my Typhus shot - and the accompanying course of antibiotics, which is ongoing - which was still making me feel ill today - if for no other reason than that my appetite has been suppressed. I have lost more than six pounds in three days - in fact, I have lost more than I gained over the Thanksgiving weekend gluttony. If I did this while feeling well, it would be amazing, but I did not. I am glad, but also taking no credit. I am at the lowest weight of the year, but I have to assume there'll be a bounce back when I am recovered.

4:35pm: Green-purple protein smoothie with coconut-almond milk, kefir, large organic egg, chia gel, kale, spinach, blueberries, cherries, strawberries, whey powder (24g protein), coconut oil, hemp seeds, hemp protein (7g protein), raw organic cacao powder, moringa leaf powder, celery, cinnamon, turmeric, vanilla extract, Dr. Gundry's Vital Reds and stevia-inulin blend.

Lunch
Skipped.

Dinner
11:45pm: Cottage cheese, walnuts, and a Quest bar.

Diet Comment
This astonishing one-day weight loss could come from a number of different causes, or possibly a combination. It could be that yesterday's weight was an anomaly. It could be the result of a day of low-calorie eating (probably under 1000 calories). It could be catch-up from Sunday's on-plan eating, not showing up for a day. It could be the result of the Typhus shot I got yesterday afternoon (which has made me pretty sick since I got it - and I'm now on antibiotics, which are no help at all). I think it's all the above, and I'll take the loss!

Lunch
5:50pm: Wild-caught salmon burger, with a chopped salad (chard, kale, spinach, walnuts, shaved parmesan cheese, balsamic vinaigrette).

Dinner
11:55pm: Cottage cheese, walnuts, an ounce of sugar-free chocolate.

   Espressos: 1;   Coffee: 0 oz.;  Tea: 0 oz.;  Water: 64+ oz.;

Diet Comment
This is a very large weight gain for three days of feasting and drinking. And I feasted and drunk, big time. I only had one 'good' day - Sunday, and it didn't make much of a dent. There's nothing to do now but buckle down. In this respect, today was a good day.

Comment
I have a lot to be thankful for.

My music, and the musicians I make it with.

My health.

My friends and family.

My life.

With all that has happened to get me to get me to this point, what I 'know' and what I don't, I am grateful every day.

I have done wrong, I have been mean, I have been unkind. I have had to forgive myself, but I haven't asked forgiveness, yet, somehow, here I am and I'm happy, to boot. I've never had more to be thankful for.

This Thanksgiving, I find myself grateful, and in the most generalized way.

After Wednesday's gig and about five hours sleep, I'm off to my sister's for a family get-together. My next update will be Monday's. Have a joyful and safe Thanksgiving.
