Daily Comment
Conflict in rehearsal isn't the norm for our band, but there was some last night. I'm still trying to understand my role in it - I don't see myself as being provocative, but that may show I don't know how my gestures and words affect the others.

I do the thing I used to do when my mother was screaming in my face: I go blank. This always infuriated her, which tempered and solidified my armor of not-there-ness.

Now, when someone suggests something I don't like, I just go blank, maybe with a little head-shake. I try to give the rationale for my opinions, but I state them as opinions, and don't press.

Food Log 
Breakfast
Cocoa-kale-hemp-chia protein shake: Almond milk, kale, cocoa, hemp seeds, chia seeds, a large egg, vanilla whey powder (24g protein), cinnamon, vanilla, psyllium and stevia-inulin blend.

Lunch
Grass-fed beef burger on almond Paleo toast with guacamole and cole slaw. Not shown: Spring Mix greens with balsamic vinaigrette.

Dinner
A very late dinner of hard-boiled eggs with home-made mayonnaise, and roasted turkey breast on almond Paleo bread with cole slaw.

Liquid Intake   
   Coffee:  22 oz.   Water:  120+ oz.
