I was exhausted today, and spent the relatively short time I was out of my bed just lolling around and catching up on DVRed TV stuff.
Then I went out for a double-dose of playing, which included a surprise-to-me birthday party for the 50th of the host band's guitar player, Morris Tarbell, one of the best guitarists in Syracuse, and, as the guitarist in the house band for the open mic I have spent the most time at, also the one I have the most playing time with. What a good time!
The celebration was unfortunate as far as my diet went, but I didn't give it a second thought.

I was surprised to wake up feeling bloated and full, and don't understand why my eating, as much as it was off-plan and excessive quantity-wise, resulted in such a large weight-gain. After all, it was the only meal of the day. Go figure. But then I encountered an unexpected catered birthday party, and all bets were off. Sigh.
