Staying out late and waking up early messes with my waking hours big time. I always say I'm going to deal with my poor sleep hygiene, but the fact of the matter is, I don't want to make any changes, I just don't want to suffer the consequences.
It is different with diet, where I don't mind making changes at all. It is easy for me to change up foods, I enjoy food prep (aka, cooking, although the way I do it, it's so much less than cooking, LOL).
Finding myself with two related issues like diet and sleeping (and they are related, just like your entire health/physical existence is made up of nothing but interrelated systems) that both need attention, and having the will to change one but not the other, that is my current dilemma.
My best solution at the moment is to deal with one (diet) and let the other one go, with the occasional symptomatic relief (naps and sleeping-in).

That's encouraging. Today became my unintentional high-carb, high-calorie day when I succumbed to a taste of a chocolate macaroon, and ended up buying a whole bag.
