I got some good news at the doctor's office - and some other news, not good or bad.
The good news is that I am really healthy. My blood work came back stellar, I'm in control of my blood sugar, my triglycerides are in-range, my liver enzymes are normal, all good.
My cholesterol is good, but the HDL-LDL ratios aren't.
The other stuff is that the test I took Monday showed that my right leg does, indeed, have some circulatory problems. I'm going to get another test (blood-dye) to show where the problem is located.
It is not a complete blockage, it only happens after walking for a while, when the muscle's oxygen demands can no longer be met with normal blood flow. But, we'll see.
Also, I'm due for a colonoscopy, and making an appointment for that.
Also, since I'll likely be here in Syracuse for a while, my new doctor (actually, not a doctor, a PA) is encouraging me to think about new knees sooner than later. He said, "If you're going to need it, it's much better to do it now than down the road, when it's absolutely necessary, and you're ten years older."
I feel good because I'm healthy and the problems I do have are being addressed.
Later, I had a rehearsal with most of I am Fool, and that was fun, because I love those guys.
I'm grateful for my health and my friends.
