We had a band meeting and a short rehearsal. Things are moving pretty quickly. Our first run of CDs was shipped from the manufacturer today. I spent an hour filling out forms for the digital distribution of the music.
The band has gotten a bank account. That's already a level more serious than any other band I've been part of.
My friend Al has become an auxiliary member of the band, promoting us, trying to get gigs, making long trips to hand out our PR Kits.

It is all very exciting, and I wish I could say it was all interesting and enjoyable, but when it comes down to it, while I understand that at least some future enjoyment requires some not-so-gratifying preparation and groundwork, when it comes right down to it, I'm still a bass player, happiest when I'm playing.
The rest? I don't know, I guess it's just the overhead of being a fairly organized member of a group, wanting to make my fair-share contribution.
But I'm willing.

I think the reason for the lack of weight lost yesterday is the lack of high water intake. That's the only explanation I can think of. I expected a bit of a loss.

Italian-style chicken sausage with onions and peppers on steamed broccoli with butter and herbs. |

Baby carrots and home-made mayonnaise, hard-boiled eggs and guacamole.
