Daily Comment
I have written three thousand posts. What started off as an online food journal on January 1, 2010 had been going for over thirteen years.
I'm proud of this achievement.
As it happens, two weeks ago I achieved my second weight-loss goal of 195 pounds, effortlessly, as I was a few pounds under that when I got back from my winter travels. Today, I was a pound heavier than that. I expect to bounce back under quickly.
It's something. I haven't been in my current apartment for as long as I've been writing this blog. At the beginning, I had a life-changing dream, about happiness being a choice, and it changed everything.
While much of the time writing the blog, in whatever shape or form (as strictly food journal, or with Daily Comments like this one, or just as a travel blog, without diet content) is a labor of love, it doesn't feel like work. I enjoy the time I spend doing it.
It makes me happy.
Previous Weight (4/12/23): 194.6 lbs.
Net Loss/Gain: + 1.5 lbs.
Diet Comment
After almost two weeks, I bounced up in weight. It's the result of days of high-calorie eating (mostly of nuts), and some dining out. I expect it to come off fairly quickly, maybe by the weekend.

Breakfast
1:45pm: Rotisserie chicken salad (sliced rotisserie chicken, arugula, cabbage, chard, kale, spinach, creamy balsamic vinaigrette).

Lunch
6:15pm: Mixed nuts and a Quest bar.
Dinner
11:15pm: Rotisserie chicken and guacamole sandwich (Ezekiel 4:9 Flax sprouted grain bread) and brussels sprouts.
Liquid Intake
Espressos: 2; Coffee: 0 oz.; Water: 40+ oz.;
