Daily Comment
I have been very uncomfortable since the weekend, when my A/C went out on the hottest, and longest days of the year.
But, I survived. Today, the apartment management sent a maintenance guy over to check. He agrees that it is not blowing cold enough air to change the temperature in my apartment (which has been over 80⁰ since Friday night, thanks to the combination of living on the third (top) floor and very hot weather).
He says I'll get a replacement unit, but he isn't sure when.
Two minutes after he left, I had a service call from Verizon, to upgrade my line and hardware and get super-fast internet, which I have never had since I moved here nine-and-a-half years ago.
It turns out my wiring's messed up, and their wiring contractor is going to have to pay me a visit. When? Nobody knows.
So it goes.
I'm grateful for the internet I have being reliable, if not really fast.
