I'm still recovering from the weekend, so all I really got done today besides feeding myself was a lot of fretting over my stock portfolios and going to an i am Fool rehearsal.
Oh, yes, and some retail therapy by ordering a small, cheap, but fancy PA system - so maybe I can do my own open mics.
Sigh.
I regret the last time I did a big purchase for my music, a new bass rig, because I am getting little use from it: It is redundant.
The summer stock market has been trying. I've racked up a majority of losing trades in my trading account since the beginning of July. It isn't a concern - I'm still up - but the trend is disturbing. Also, it seems worse than it is because of two things: First, because all my trades in that account are losing, at the moment; second because after reaching a new high balance in my investment portfolio two weeks ago, I have seen some fairly big declines.
Nothing to lose sleep over - I'm not investing for portfolio value, but for dividend income, which is independent of the stocks' prices/total portfolio value.
I'm a hobbyist investor, anyway. I don't quite get why I enjoy it so much, and I'm not asking questions about it, either, since it has been very rewarding - lucrative, even.
I am grateful just to still be here, still enjoying myself!
