One of the things I like about where I live is that it is very close to the Regional Market, the Saturday market where farmers and other food producers sell their goods directly to the public.
I used it to fuel my 'cheat days' because they had fresh-baked cakes and pies for sale there, but mostly, it is where I buy my eggs and some of my vegetables, and now that I don't have cheat days, that is what I go there for.
But somehow, while I was sleeping in or otherwise not able to go there on a Saturday (there's little going on after Noon), I missed the spaghetti squash season this year.
Today was the 5th time I've gone 'round looking specifically for spaghetti squash, and not found a one. I love spaghetti squash, but I am too cheap to buy the big ones they sell at Wegman's, which are too much for a single guy.
I don't know, I'll end up overpaying, and eating a huge portion.
There are worse fates.

Diet Comment
I ate a lot of food today, and probably to much of one thing - I ate all my week's pepperoni today, I was in that kind of mood. I don't expect it will improve my weight chart any, but that's okay, because tomorrow I'm fasting as prep for Monday's colonoscopy.

cacao kale protein shake (almond milk, kale, a large egg, raw organic
cacao powder, whey powder (28g protein), cinnamon and stevia-inulin
blend). And a donut when I got to work (fail!).
Lunch
Pepperoni with sauteed onions, peppers, baby greens, and eggs.
Dinner
Pepperoni and a salad of baby kale, Spring Mix and cole slaw mix with balsamic vinaigrette.
Snack
Pepperoni and hard-boiled eggs with guacamole.
