Daily Comment

Here's a weird thing: 

I lived in North Carolina for twenty-one years, and, although the weather is better, and I don't regret having moved there, and it was a good place to raise my son, after three-and-a-half years in Syracuse, NY, I don't miss it at all.

So maybe it wasn't a good move, back then.

It only comes up because Alex told me he's taking a vacation there in April. My only thought is, I wish it were some place I wanted to go.

When I went there in December, I felt I had closed the book on that place. To Alex, it is home.

Today's Weight:         204.6 lbs
Yesterday's Weight:     206.8 lbs
Day Net Loss/Gain:      - 2.2 lbs

Diet Comment
Yesterday's low-carb diet reversed the recent up-trend. Now I have to continue sticking to the plan.


Food Log 

Breakfast
Cocoa-Kale-hemp protein shake (Almond milk, hemp seeds, kale, chia seeds, a large egg, cocoa, vanilla whey powder (24g protein), cinnamon, stevia-inulin blend).

Lunch
Roasted turkey breast on Spring Mix greens with baby spinach, red cabbage and balsamic vinaigrette. Not shown, a fail consisting of three home-made chocolate chip cookies for dessert. I can't refuse/resist home-made.

Dinner
Chili (organic chopped beef, black beans, mushrooms, tomatoes, spices) with steamed broccoli with butter and spices.

Snack
Hard-boiled eggs with home-made spicy mayonnaise.

Liquid Intake   
   Coffee:  24 oz,  Water:  112+ oz
