Daily Comment

This was a sad, gray day with bitter-cold winds. I went to the NY Regional Market to get eggs and look for something to bring to a Halloween party, and discovered at my next shopping location (a half-hour later) that my wallet was missing.

It is likely that I dropped it, at some point, in the crowded market, or maybe even while putting my purchases away.

So, credit cards canceled and new ones ordered. But no money, and my most useful and used credit cards are gone, as is my debit card. And no cash, either, until my bank opens Monday.

After I go to the bank, I'll have to go in person to replace my Driver's license. It was discovering what I have to bring as proof of identity that led me to realize I don't know where my passport is last seen three years ago).

You'd think that in a one-bedroom apartment like mine, searching for it would be easy - a piece of cake. But you'd be wrong. I'm a slob, and I have no idea where I put it - it may even be at work, since its' last use was also work-related. I am scared, though, that when I cleaned out the Odyssey, it went out in the trash, accidentally. I will, of course, keep looking. I'll let you know when/if I find it. 

And, of course, I spent the rest of the day on the rest of the pain-in-the-ass processes you have to go to when you lose your wallet.

Diet Comment
Yesterday's late high-calorie eating had a very negative result. Tonight's party wasn't much of a help, although I ate minimally beforehand, and was at least moderately moderate on the desserts offered. But, being a Halloween party, most of what was available was sweets.

Snack
cacao-kale-hemp-chia protein shake (almond-coconut milk, kale, a large egg, raw organic cacao powder, hemp seeds, chia gel, whey powder (24g protein), cinnamon, psyllium and stevia-inulin blend).

Dinner
At a Halloween party, I ate mostly cold cuts - turkey, salami, roast beef and ham. However, the treats were out in full force - I stuck to some of the less lethal-looking baked goods, some cake and brownies.

Liquid Intake   
   Coffee:  24 oz.   Water: 80+ oz.
