A put-together-for-the-occasion band was formed in about an hour, and it included one of my favorite drummers.
It was a party out in the country, Bike Night for a local motorcycle club at a member's roadhouse.
It all went well - it was a lot of fun, the crowd was good and enjoyed the music, and we all celebrated the first warm, dry evening of Spring here in Central New York.
On the way home, of course, everything changed. I ran into a little hail, that turned into rain.
For whatever reason, that made me hungry, and I stopped in at one of my favorite Diners (and one of the few 24-hour non-chain places in Syracuse), and destroyed my eating plan.
And still went home happy.

I caught up on your whole week today. A little bit up and down. Unusual for you. And what is the deal with the quest bars? what are they? I remember you as having a good voice. or at least an okay voice. I can't sing anymore either. Oh well
ReplyDeleteQuest bars are unique in that they are widely available (Vitamin Shoppe, GNC, all over the place online). They have two lines, one with artificial sweeteners, which I don't use, and the other sweetened with stevia and erytrhitol, both of which I use regularly. They actually fit into my diet plan (as opposed to Ezekiel products), because they are high in protein, good fats, and fiber, and are low in carbs, all 3 grams of which come from nuts. Taste is secondary, but they don't taste awful. And, finally, they are inexpensive - half the price of the only other protein bar I know of that meets my eating requirements (BioTrust bars).
