Daily Comment
Welcome to the new blog site. I was getting constant errors on the old one - I think I had overflowed my Picasa account with two-plus years' worth of pictures, so I had to start a new one. Sorry for the inconvenience. Now back to our regular Daily Comment:

I was so-o-o tired today.

I almost fell asleep at my desk while drinking my morning coffee. A couple of hours after lunch, I nodded off staring at my computer screen, and somebody walked into my cube and nudged me back awake. That's not good. I could - and probably will - get in trouble for that. The people in my office are a bunch of tattle-tales.

I was up hours before the alarm (a great new alarm clock, set to play The Beatles 'Good Day Sunshine' and 'Good Morning, Good Morning,' wasted by my poor sleep hygiene).

Anyway, not to revisit the past, but I have to get serious about things like sleep hygiene and diet. As to the former, I'm not sure what I'm going to do - when I go to bed early, I wake up very early. Napping may be the way to go. I'm not sure.

As to diet, in 2012 I got loose, and didn't pay too high a price, but now I want more - I want to stay under 200 pounds for the majority of the year, and end 2013 under 200. I think I can do that just by stopping my late eating - and I think that may also help with my sleep hygiene.

Beginning today, we'll see.

On the road back. We'll see how good I can be - I'd like to see my weight down to two hundred pounds or less by my birthday in three weeks. File under "Simple but Specific Goals".

Food Log
Breakfast
Cocoa-kale protein shake (almond milk, whey protein (36g protein), kale, chia gel, cocoa, cinnamon, stevia-inulin blend).

Lunch
Broccoli slaw with salmon and Spring Mix with balsamic vinaigrette.

Dinner
Chicken-Feta cheese-spinach sausage with Dal Tadka (lentil curry) on broccoli.

Snack
Three hard-boiled eggs with guacamole.

Liquid Intake   
   Coffee:  24 oz,  Water:  104+ oz.
