Post 708, Day 11 of 2013.
It has been 742 days since I started this blog.



Daily Comment
I don't know if everything that can be said has been - although, if time and space are illusions, it is true.

Nonetheless, I know that on this material plane, this adventure in illusion, I haven't said everything I want to, or thought everything I need to.

Expression is a goal in itself, as is becoming open to others' thoughts and ideas.

No matter how faulty (and, again, illusory) our perceptions are, they're still the preferred and accepted medium of interpersonal communication. Less than perfect, less than complete, what else do we have?

Which reminds me of the old, pre-disco BeeGee's tune, 'Words': "It's only words, and words are all I have..." (click to play, with words)

Of course, words aren't actually the only means of communications - there are many others, some situationally more effective, few that are as reliable. Oft-times miscommunication, no matter what the media, is only that: Bad communcations.

Which is the problem with sense-based anything: Too much filtering, too much ego-based interference.

 Food and Diet Section

First-half year 2013 daily weight from December 31, 2012
Today's Weight:       203.8 lbs 
Yesterday's Weight:   205.0 lbs
Day Net Loss/Gain:    - 1.2 lbs

Diet Comment
I set out to have a normal day today, but late-morning hunger got me off-track, and just before work I ate some more of the candy that was available in the office. Not good in front of tomorrow's cheat day.

Food Log
Breakfast
Cocoa-kale shake (vanilla unsweetened almond milk, chi gel, cocoa, cinnamon, stevia-inulin mix, vanilla whey powder (36g protein), kale.

Lunch
Before lunch, I got really hungry, and ate a little leftover chocolate candy I was offered at work. For lunch, I had Spring Mix, cole slaw mix (green and red cabbage and carrots), hemp seeds and balsamic vinegar.

Snack
A small amount of various chocolate candies, then a little later, pepperoni and celery with home-made mayonnaise.

Dinner
Dal Makhani (Lentils and tomato cream sauce curry) with scrambled eggs and spinach.

Snack
Cole slaw.


Liquid Intake   
   Coffee:  18 oz,  Water:  136+ oz.
