#2685, Monday, July 12, '21: Weekend update

Daily Comment
I woke up last Friday feeling off. Like about to have a cold. There was a touch of scratchy throat, a little bit of coughing, and a slight feeling of fever.

Minor stuff. But it lasted all weekend, and today.

I didn't let it slow me down much, doing some shopping, a 'gig' (really a gig cancellation party for the band, and capping it all off with the Sunday night jam I go to regularly. 

Some progress was made getting things sorted for my sister-in-law. 

I ended up with what I'm thinking of as an ambivalent weekend.

Because I didn't get sick. I felt well enough to do my activities. I enjoyed myself, but sometimes I didn't.

The whole time, I was fairly preoccupied with my new understanding of what it means to be an introvert, fascinated by this new insight, finding how neatly I fit into that definition. Hard to believe it came from a four-panel comic!

I'm grateful for my still-expanding self-knowledge.

Food and Diet 
Today's Weight:                    
195.0 lbs.
Previous Weight (7/9/21):          199.0 lbs.
Net Loss/Gain:                     - 4.0 lbs.

Diet Comment
As I mentioned above, I've been feeling a bit 'off' health-wise, and my appetite is down. The last time I saw a weight this low was near the end of a ten-day illness in the Fall of 2019.

Food Log
Breakfast
2:45pm: Ultimate oatmeal: oats, oat milk, blueberries, blackberries, and raspberries, kefir, Greek yogurt, whey protein, nutritional yeast, cinnamon, walnuts.

Lunch
Skipped. 

Dinner
8:10pm: Chopped chef's salad (roasted turkey breast, cheddar cheese, arugula, cabbage, chard, kale, spinach, beets, garbanzo beans, yogurt bleu cheese dressing) and peanut butter and Peruvian 68% dark chocolate.

Liquid Intake
   Espressos: 0;   Coffee: 24 oz.;  Water: 72+ oz.;
