Food and Diet



Today's Weight:                   204.4 lbs.
Previous Weight (4/19):           201.6 lbs.
Net Loss/Gain:                    + 2.8 lbs.

Diet Comment
In my last comment (from April 19, eight days ago), I predicted I would weigh-in at 209 pounds today. That was entirely based on my eating agenda while in New Orleans. I think that would have been accurate, too - I ate more breaded, fried food while there than in the whole past year, and drank a lot of alcoholic drinks daily - except for two things: First, I had no idea how much walking I would do while I was down there (I think I walked an average of six-to-eight miles every day!); Second, I didn't realize how much sweating I was going to do even while not moving (the weather was great, and sunny during the whole visit, except for one non-JazzFest day when there was about an hour of rain) standing in the open sun - I was prepared with hats to wear, but they trap heat a little, too. Anyway, just glad that it all worked out, and I am not hating myself for enjoying myself as much as I did!

Breakfast

Lunch
At Core Grains, Greens and Broth:
Chicken Cobb salad (shredded kale and romaine, grilled chicken, avocado, bacon, hard-cooked egg and blue cheese dressing with a little sriracha).
Snack
A Quest bar.

Dinner
At Funk n' Waffles:
Bootsy Brunch (bacon-stuffed buttermilk waffles with two eggs and cheddar cheese).

Snack
Assorted small portions of cottage cheese, hummus, guacamole, and a Quest bar.

Liquid Intake
   Espressos: 0;  Coffee:  18 oz.;  Water: 64+ oz. and a shot of Jameson's Black Barrel.
