Daily Comment

I feel guilty about not writing the blog since Thursday last week (when I finished up Wednesday's post). I have no excuse, although I'm working on the reasons why.

One reason was not being able to come up with anything to write about. I fear the Daily Comment becoming a Seinfeldian blog about nothing. And I sort of put off finishing last Thursday's Daily Comment after a few unsatisfying false starts. Finally, I gave up.

Another problem was the result of moving the computer out of the bedroom. That move was made because the computer distracted me from getting out of bed.

But in the living room, my computer-usage was itself subject to constant distraction. I'd start writing the blog, then let my attention wander in any number of directions.

I live a messy life, in both the specifically literal and generally figurative way.

My mental state is also none-too neat.

I don't know how much longer writing this blog will go on for. Its original purpose didn't include commentary, and now that I've added it, I feel I've said all I have to say. And then, sometimes not.

I may have to acknowledge that I miss routine in my life. The Daily Comment was a relief from routine, and a total lack of routine has not been good for it.

Breakfast
Green protein shake with almond-coconut milk, kefir, extra-large organic egg, chia gel, kale, whey powder (36g protein), hemp seeds, hemp protein (7g protein), raw organic cacao powder, celery, moringa leaf powder, cinnamon, and stevia-inulin blend.

Lunch
Cottage cheese and a Quest bar.

Dinner
Wild-caught salmon burger with guacamole and a salad with baby kale mix, cole slaw mix, celery and creamy balsamic vinaigrette.

Snack
Cheese and pork rinds.

Liquid Intake
   Espressos: 1;  Coffee:  28 oz.;  Water: 72+ oz.
