Daily Comment
After yesterday's busy 'work'-like day, today was... something different (at least until I went out and played at two open mics to close it out.
What I did was wake up early, putter around, have a moment of boredom, get stoned and, at about 9 AM, go back to bed.
I woke up at 12:30.
And went about my usual, post-waking up stuff.
Later, around five, I realized, for the very first time, that it was Wednesday. Which means I had missed my regular weekly lunch date at Core Grains, Greens and Broth. Which led me to the question, "Where the hell is my phone?".
Because my phone (and, to a now-lesser, though essential degree, my computer) is my connection to my shared (as opposed to unilaterally subjective) reality. It is where I keep all appointments, reminders, contact information, and remote communications gateways.
My phone should have prevented this. But it was in my man-purse hanging in the coat closet, and, for no reason I can recollect, the ringer was turned off.
When I retrieved it, I found that my friend Al had cancelled anyway. I'm still the luckiest guy I know. I get away with everything.
But I was really taken aback by my own disconnection. I slept through an appointment that I wanted to keep. I didn't realize what day of the week it was, and the day was half-over before I figured it out.
What does this mean?
Probably need to check my calendar (if only to make sure I have my phone nearby) before baking.
Yeah, that's the ticket.

Green protein shake with almond-coconut milk, kefir, extra-large organic egg, chia gel, kale, whey powder (36g protein), almond butter, hemp seeds, hemp protein (7g protein), raw organic cacao powder, celery, moringa leaf powder, cinnamon, and stevia-inulin blend.
Dinner
Sliced London broil with Philippe's hot mustard (famous), cole slaw and cheese. Then more cheese with celery and home-made mayonnaise.
Snack
Cottage cheese and a Quest bar with almond butter.
Liquid Intake
Espressos: 2; Coffee: 30 oz.; Water: 58+ oz.
