I think I have entered the point in life where my most attractive feature to women is that I am non-threatening.
Since I no longer play the mating game, the only thing I want from women is friendship. Women seem to be responding to that.
A few of the women musicians (and/or wannabe's) I know have found my supportive attitude nurturing, but I think that is just a side-effect. Being supportive and honest is what friends do, but some of the women I spend time with find it very novel.
For me, it is just a relief not to be dealing with women from a place of need. I'm not looking to get married, I don't even want to be in a relationship. I am enjoying my independence, and don't want to have to make compromises based on another person's view of reality.
As far as not playing the mating game, well, I'm glad not to be in that mix. I don't need someone to "complete me". I'll be complete when I'm dead.
Grateful that my happiness isn't dependent on others, especially not a significant other.
