Daily Comment
My computer is fixed, and in only two days, so I only missed two days of posting. I am grateful to Apple - they took great care of me. It was expensive, but so it goes.

Somebody hit my car while it was parked in a lot while I was at a jam on Sunday - looks pretty ugly, but that's all - it is an appearance thing, the car's function is perfect. After the unforeseen computer expense, I won't be taking on the cost of repairing the fender.

Once again, I am grateful that a shortage of money that only impacts discretionary expenses is the worst problem I have. I got to do some good jamming, though, and the car helped me get around that night, along with two temporarily transportation-challenged friends.

A problem I've been having with one of my hearing aids (feeding back a lot) turns out to be a problem with my ears. My right ear - which always produces more sebum than my left - has a wall of wax buildup that is going to require my doctor to clean.

The other physical problem I have knee pain in my left leg, sometimes seemingly unrelated to movement (like when I am lying down and feel it hurting), but going down stairs or down hill always brings the pain on. Also, sometimes it radiates down and I have pain in my shins and calf.

I have a doctor's appointment in a week, and we'll address these issues. No worries.

Diet Comment
I think I was actually doing pretty well until yesterday, when I had a bunch of very salty food and, even though everything was on-plan, it still made me retain a lot of water for a weight gain. This week, I lose every day...

Food Log
Breakfast
4:40pm: Green protein smoothie with coconut milk, kefir, large organic egg, chia gel, kale, spinach, celery, whey powder (36g protein), hemp seeds, hemp protein (7g protein), raw organic cacao powder, moringa leaf powder, cinnamon, coconut oil and stevia-inulin blend.

Lunch
10:30pm:  A Quest bar and cottage cheese.

Dinner
1:30am:  Eggs and guacamole, and carrots with home-made mayonnaise.

Liquid Intake
   Espressos: 1;   Coffee: 22 oz.;  Tea: 0 oz.;  Water: 56+ oz.
