Daily Comment

As I write this right now, during lunch, I only have one thing on my mind: i am Fool playing the Dinosaur tonight.

It is kind of a big deal. Besides Syracuse University, the Dino is the best-known thing in Syracuse. We've been 'banned' from playing there for almost five years because the guy in charge of music didn't like our name. It took his girlfriend, a fan of the group, to get him to relent.

But wait, you say, I thought the band had been renamed Fool. Because that is what I told you.

I was wrong. Apparently this re-branding was meant for convenience, like the Dead or the Stones, and wasn't a renaming. Sigh.

So it goes.

The show was great! We slowly built a pretty good crowd from nothing - I have been to the Dinosaur dozens of times per year, and when I arrived in the middle of the dinner hour, it was as empty as I've ever seen it - and the audience was enthusiastic through the whole show. We made new fans, even sold some CDs. We were asked back.

I had a little melt-down in the middle of the last set and completely blew the changes to one of our cover songs. That was weird, and, thank goodness, over quickly. It was the low-point of an otherwise triumphant evening.

Five years in the making.

Diet Comment
Once again, letting too many carbs into my eating, combined with a late-night snack have halted my progress. Today will be better. In fact, I'm going to try and make the whole weekend work in my favor.

Breakfast

Lunch
Green protein shake with almond-coconut milk, kefir, extra-large organic egg, chia gel, kale, whey powder (36g protein), hemp seeds, hemp protein (7g protein), raw organic cacao powder, moringa leaf powder, cinnamon, and stevia-inulin blend.

Dinner
Omelet with peppers, onion, greens, cheese and bacon.
Snack
A Quest bar.

Liquid Intake
   Espressos: 2Coffee:  24 oz.;  Water: 88+ oz. and a nice pour of Tullamore Dew Irish whiskey.
