I'm slogging along, making the best I can out of life in the bad-Winter-weather zone.
I was able to accomplish a few things today: Fix a doctor's appointment that was scheduled incorrectly. Do my clothes laundry. Begin my taxes. Pick up some groceries. Put my car back in gigging format (day-to-day, non-vacation style), including recycling all my bottled water plastic. Finish another rehearsal CD for my new band gig. Beat down my queue on the DVR.
This far exceeds my daily minimum for accomplishment.
That new band gig is nice. The band will play a gig a month beginning in March, ending in November - avoiding Winter gigs. The material is a lot that I'm familiar with, very little I've actually played. So a nice little challenge for me, going mainstream, as it were.
And playing popular bar music will be a nice change, too.

1:40pm: Green protein smoothie with coconut milk, kefir, large organic egg, chia gel, kale, spinach, celery, whey powder (36g protein), hemp seeds, hemp protein (7g protein), raw organic cacao powder, moringa leaf powder, cinnamon, coconut oil and stevia-inulin blend. Also, a slice of toasted, buttered Ezekiel 4:9 Flax sprouted grain bread.
Lunch
8:30pm: London broil with Philippe's famous hot mustard and carrots and celery with home-made mayonnaise.
