I think I've turned a corner on my thinking about retirement.

I'm not changing the date - it's still happening when I turn sixty-six, in less than a year-and-a-half.

However, assuming that things don't change too much between now and then, I'm going to stay where I am.

As long as I can keep, at a minimum, my current activity level making music, I want to continue doing that. This is the source of my current happiness, and I'm not of a mind to turn my back on it, not while it is still a viable path.

When I retire, any money that comes to me through playing will be used for fun. I can afford to retire on my social security and pensions. More fun, that is...

That is the new "plan." Stay in Syracuse until the music stops.

Brussels sprouts, kimchee, and, from the "Mongolian Grill", my go-to dish: pork and chicken with cabbage, onions, mushrooms, green peppers and broccoli.
Snack
Pepperoni and cole slaw.

Dinner
Sauteed chicken breast salad on a mixed salad.

Snack
Pepperoni.

Liquid Intake
   Coffee:  6 oz.   Water: 128+ oz.

  1. You know (or maybe you don't), with the exception of freebies,celebrating and social occasions, i keep seeing the words 'protein bar(s)' appear on the same page with 'weight gain'. Also, by the way, i think that your new 'plan' is a very good 'plan'. It is every bit as good as your last plan, and the 'ones' before that.
