If accomplished, that will only make this year's Spring cleaning finished only two years and three months late.
So, I lived in a mess (now, not so much) as I have for most of my life. No harm, as far as I know.
I guess the question now is, what will the benefit be?
Time will tell.
A tidy apartment, like home ownership, making your bed, and 'hard work', supposedly conveys benefits, but I can't remember ever enjoying any.
I did find my passport at the very beginning of the cleaning, but it was only a matter of time before that happened, it is expired, so the only benefit of finding it is that I don't have to fill out a lost passport form when I go to renew. If I had stopped at that point, my apartment would be every bit as messy as if I hadn't started (I was just moving papers from one pile to another). Still...
My expectations are so low. Including, for me.

I think there is some benefit to not avoiding things.
ReplyDeleteI have moringa trees growing in my yard, so if you ever come visit you can have fresh moringa - great in salads, steamed, sauteed - it's called El Arbol de La Vida (The Tree of Life)
ReplyDeleteDobie: Another good reason to make that happen!!
