I've been watching a lot of TV lately.
Usually, that means I'm depressed, but I don't feel depressed.
But this is an amazing time to be checking out TV. I have seen so many good shows lately.
The Boys, Undone, The Handmaid's Tale, Carnival Row have all made a big impression on me in the last three weeks. Undone and The Boys were especially good, and I recommend them.
I've been using my old trusty Steinberger XL-2 bass lately, because it takes a little adjustment to play and I'm planning on taking it with me on my winter travels. It's gotten rave reviews everywhere. It's certainly a conversation piece. Here I am with it on its first night out in a long, long time:
I played a lot this weekend, once on Saturday, twice on Sunday, so it's been getting a workout and I'm getting 'right' with it.
I've kept my streaks going with Spanish lessons and my daily pages, more than two months without missing on the former, more than a month-and-a-half on the latter, and I've also been doing my fifteen minutes of cleaning, getting some of the nastiest stuff out of the way, slowly. Soon, decluttering will commence.
That's the state of affairs with me.
I am still grateful for my amazing life.
