I think my ability to recover - from anything that unbalances my system - is in decline. That's age, I guess.
I have been having trouble getting to sleep, then falling asleep suddenly. It has been very difficult to haul my ass out of bed in the morning. I don't wake up feeling refreshed. And I've been clocking fewer sleep hours, as well.

I find that everything takes 3 weeks to return to baseline.
