Daily Comment
I had a doctor's appointment today, but it didn't work out.
I was turned away because I was supposed to be quarantined pending the results of my test. Which, when I thought about it, made sense. But I was in pain, and in the doctor's office. I asked if I could speak with her on the phone. This was refused.
I felt that was not right, especially when I had an appointment because of my lower back pain, and felt I could be treated over the phone anyway. My doctor had turned away a patient in pain.
I was angry about it (I'm over that now) and have decided not to work with that doctor, anyway. As I had never seen her in person, only a 5 minute pleased-to-meet-you teleMed call mid-March that resulted in two prescriptions I decided not to take.
I'm grateful that I have a teleMed scheduled tomorrow and will get some muscle relaxers and relief.
