Late tomorrow afternoon I'm flying out of Syracuse - by midnight, I'll be landing in New Orleans (if all things going on schedule, that is).
That's exciting, and belies the point I did very little today - accomplished only one thing, and let everything else ride.
I said goodbye to Marsha Sweeney. She will probably die while I'm out of town. Nothing to be done for her, except to tell her she was loved, how grateful I was to have her in my life, how much joining the band that led to meeting her had meant to me outside of the music; the band members and their families had become family to me.
I watched a bit of TV, did a minute amount of housework, made and ate my food.
That's what I did, today.
In all likelihood, my next blog entry will be for Wednesday, May 10, which should post Thursday.

Diet Comment
Up less than a half pound for all the weekend fun? I'll take it. But I think when I get back from New Orleans, my favorite restaurant city in the World, I may have to change the range on the graph! Sigh.

Breakfast
6:05pm: Omelet with peppers, onions, sauteed greens, chia seeds, hemp seeds, Dubliner cheese and a salad of chard, kale, spinach and balsamic vinaigrette.
Lunch
9:35pm: Salmon-burger on buttered Ezekiel 4:9 Flax bread with salsa and some Dubliner cheese.
Dinner
6:05pm: Omelet with peppers, onions, sauteed greens, chia seeds, hemp seeds, Dubliner cheese and a salad of chard, kale, spinach and balsamic vinaigrette.
Lunch
9:35pm: Salmon-burger on buttered Ezekiel 4:9 Flax bread with salsa and some Dubliner cheese.
Dinner
12:20am: Broccoli and chick pea curry.
