Daily Comment

I'm working hard at being lazy.

Today, I woke up early, but spent the better part of the day in bed. Because my MacBook.

Also because I'm not feeling all that well. I have a feeling my exposure to 200+ people at my party, along with some fairly heavy partying and a little dehydration may have left my immunity weak enough for an infection. I have a scratchy throat.

So, I had a bit of business to do, some make-work stuff, like editing photos and audio, getting caught up in the Facebook time-toilet, and I'm still way behind in watching DVRed TV shows.

I did a little apartment cleaning. I really don't feel like I've made a dent, but the apartment was an unnoticeably tiny amount neater at the end of the day than at the beginning.

Then, of course, I went out to play.

Good idea/bad idea, that.

Mostly a good idea. I met up with a bunch of friends at an open mic at a place I like a lot. There was fun, there were jokes, there were intoxicants. I played a little set of my own, and then played with the house band for a number to close the night down. There was a lot of joy in the house.

And, at the end, I'm happy, but feeling physically worse. Throat officially sore. Glands a little swollen. Head-achy.

I have a little snack (I haven't had much of an appetite today). Then, for the first time in I can't remember how long, I go to sleep before midnight.

Not doing that well on the eating front - not eating enough, including not enough vegetables yesterday.

Green protein shake with almond-coconut milk, kefir, extra-large organic egg, chia gel, kale, celery, whey powder (36g protein), almond butter, hemp seeds, hemp protein (7g protein), raw organic cacao powder, moringa leaf powder, cinnamon, and stevia-inulin blend.

Snack
Sriracha chicken breast.

Liquid Intake
   Espressos: 1;  Coffee:  22 oz.;  Water: 48+ oz.
