Being that the bar doesn't serve anything else, I had a nice draft recommended by the bartender (it was a nut brown ale, I didn't catch the name).
I don't drink beer often. I got a little buzz from drinking that one beer. It made me impatient, and I ended up leaving the bar before playing.
I went home, and, although I had previously decided that I was done eating, I ate a Quest bar, then another. Then another. I had some water to wash down my evening pills, and fell asleep.
Apparently, I get munchies from anything that gets me high.

Diet Comment
Yesterday's Quest bars and a salad eating worked, I guess. A man can't live by Quest bars alone - well, actually, I think a man could live on Quest Bars alone, but I digress: Today, only one Quest bar, after lunch out.Diet Comment

ReplyDeleteI am somewhat better today after getting a steroid shot in my shoulder (pain interfering with sleep) that resulted in shocking pain when the novacaine wore off. I think my response to the novacaine means taht the steroid will work. But it is hard to function without a right arm. Love you both
ReplyDeleteWhat is the above comment about, Joan? i didn't know about a problem with your shoulder. Is that an arthritic condition, or what? Let me know, as i am a curious person who loves you much, and i like to keep track of you (as well as Katie, Danny, Alex, Kenny, and even Jack).

Joan had a very sore shoulder when I spoke with her over the weekend. She wasn't sure why, assumed it was bursitis, and planned on seeing a doctor about it. The above, written today (Friday) is her telling me what happened.
