- 11 years and 144 days since I started this blog -
It was one of my stranger trips.
My itinerary changed at the last minute, from NYC-Cary, NC-Wilbur By the Sea, FL, to the reverse - Florida first, then NC and NY.
A good thing, but it ended up with me being alone in Florida for five days. Which made the end of that part welcome. The time before my friends left? Wonderful. The part of my trip that followed, reconnecting with my friend Gerry in NC, and my brother and sister-in-law and friends in NYC, was great.
I ate well the entire time, although the City part was especially good. Much of my eating, for the ten days before I got home, was excellent in taste and quality, but off-plan.
So it goes.
Shortly after I got to Florida, I began to feel sharp, stabbing pain in my right groin area, near a hernia found a few years ago, that I was watching. It seemed worst first thing when waking. It also became progressively more painful, although it was minor once I got around moving. I made a doctor's appointment to get it looked at. That will happen tomorrow.
That pain has stopped getting worse (or I'm getting used to it), but it has stopped me from walking every day.

The new car is fantastic! I'm so entertained by its modernity. It behaved well on its maiden voyage.
Vicki has decided I'm a broken man in need of fixing, which she isn't interested in doing. Apparently, since she can't imagine herself being happy in my life, I am not happy with it, although she had thought I was - and I had thought I was.
