Diet Comment
I had a long weekend in LA, where I went to meet my first grandchild, Leonardo James Kellerman, who was born seven weeks prematurely, four days before his scheduled baby shower. It was a great weekend, full of great food, all at restaurants, and it is nothing short of amazing that I gained less than three pounds. I was expecting a much larger gain. Food was a secondary thought after dear Leo, and the food was definitely off-plan, and definitely delicious. No regrets. It was a very emotional time. Strong, positive emotions. 

It is impossible to describe or measure the love I have for my grandchild, my son, his partner (I was going to marry them this weekend, but it didn't work out - too much going on, and the whole focus was on Leo).

I am at my high weight of the year! I am going to Thailandin a few days, and this will stay my weight for a while, as this is my last weight-focused post until I get back in December. In the meantime, Reverend Ken's Blog will focus on Chiang Mai.

Holding steady is good. Note: I'm going to LA tomorrow, to meet my first grandchild, who surprised us by arriving six weeks early. Little Leo is in an incubator, I won't be able to touch him, but I have to see him in person. Back Monday night, no new posts until Tuesday or Wednesday.

1:20pm, at Sahota Palace: Buffet, including naan, chicken masala, chickpea curry, cauliflower curry, mixed salad, rice pudding, chai.
Lunch
Skipped.
Dinner
9:25pm: Veggie bolognese sauce and shaved parmesan cheese. A  Quest bar.
Liquid Intake
Espressos: 1;  Coffee: 0oz.;  Water: 42+ oz.;

Not a good result, but certainly expected after the gigantic restaurant meal and very large sweet margarita consumed yesterday. I can virtually guarantee better today.

Shakshuka (Quorn Meatless Grounds, spinach, Rao's Tomato Basil sauce, eggs, goat cheese). Ezekiel 4:9 Flax sprouted grains toast (not shown).

Espressos: 1;  Coffee: 10oz.;  Water: 42+ oz.; A shot of Redbreast 15.

6:20pm, at Rio Grande Mexican Restaurant: Enchiladas superior (one each beef, chicken, bean and cheese in mole poblano sauce with shredded lettuce and sour cream). Chips and salsa. A 'House' Margarita (huge. Too sweet, too)..
Dinner
9:30pm: Mixed nuts. A Quest bar.
Liquid Intake
Espressos: 1;  Coffee: 22oz.;  Water: 48+ oz.; 12oz.(+?) Margarita

9:20pm: Pasta bolognese (high protein and fiber fucilli, with Quorn Meatless grounds, Rao's Tomato Basil sauce, chopped spinach, vinegar, chia seeds and hemp seeds).
