I did this. It wasn't my intention to gain weight, but I ignored all restraint over the 4-day Memorial Day weekend, knowing that what I was eating would show up on the scale at my next weigh-in. Sometimes, I do that. There was a big party on Sunday, and it included a veritable Versaille table of desserts, and I went a little crazy. I used to do that once a week (cheat day) when I wanted to lose weight, but after I'd reached my goal weight (I'm well under that goal now), I cut it out to improve my blood sugar regulation. I've gone from the year's low weight to its high weight in four days. But the lesson I've learned is that any isolated cheat can be tolerated, and any gain, reversed. I'm hoping that reversal starts today.
